Odile Sheehy obtained a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics and a Master's degree in Statistics from the Université du Québec à Montréal. She then worked in the Department of Epidemiology and Biostatistics at McGill University. She then worked as a senior biostatistician in a CRO "Phoenix International" where she supervised FDA submissions. In 1998, she joined Dr. Jacques LeLorier's team where she collaborated and conducted numerous studies in pharmacoepidemiology and pharmacoeconomics for over 10 years. She has also acquired extensive expertise in Quebec and Canadian administrative databases. She joined Dr. Bérard's team in January 2009 as Senior Biostatistician and Research Coordinator. She is also the lead analyst for the Canadian Mother-Child Cohort Active Surveillance (CAMCCO) initiative.
