Yueh-Yi Chiang, BSPharm, is a dedicated PhD candidate in Practice, Sciences, and Health Outcomes Research (P-SHOR), University of Maryland, Baltimore. Rooted in a strong foundation as a trained pharmacist, Yueh-Yi embarked on her academic journey by joining the Masters program in the Department of P-SHOR in 2021 and subsequently entered the PhD program in 2022. Currently, she serves as the vice president for the International Society for Pharmacoepidemiology (ISPE) student chapter at the University of Maryland School of Pharmacy.
Yueh-Yi's current PhD study has a concentration in pharmacoepidemiology. Her research interest involves providing real-world evidence on interventions' benefits or harms, thereby informing and enhancing clinical and policy decision-making. Her ongoing research centers around medication utilization, treatment patterns, examination of disparities, and mental health disorders.
