Sungho Bea is a highly motivated and dedicated researcher pursuing a doctoral candidate in pharmacoepidemiology at the School of Pharmacy, Sungkyunkwan University. With experience exploring the comparative effectiveness and safety of medications using real-world data, he focuses on utilizing generated evidence for clinical and regulatory decision-making. In his recent work, he has focused on examining the effectiveness of sodium-glucose co-transporter-2 inhibitors in relation to hepatic outcomes, as well as investigating how the presence of metabolic disease can affect the effectiveness and safety of diabetic drugs. He has successfully led these projects and published his findings as the first author in respected journals such as Gut and Clinical Gastroenterology and Hepatology.
