With almost 20 years of experience in statistics, epidemiology, and public health, I have spent the last six years as the Head of Innovative RWD Analytics at Parexel. Prior to that, I served as the Director of Applied Statistics and Assistant Professor at the University of Utah. I am currently involved in active collaborations on the frontiers of innovations in leveraging RWD as equivalent evidence to randomized control trials (RCTs) and collaborating with thought leaders on best practices in comparative effectiveness, such as Targeted Learning and evolving methods in causal AI. I was also involved in early successful submissions to the US FDA using synthetic control arms (SCAs).
