I am a Senior Director of Epidemiology at RTI-HS - working remotely from Berlin, Germany, as a member of RTI-HS's Barcelona office. I studied Medicine and completed my Pediatrics residency in Buenos Aires, and did my doctoral studies in Epidemiology (focus: Pharmacoepidemiology) at Harvard School of Public Health in Boston. I worked as a Research Fellow at the Brigham and Women's Hospital´s Division of Pharmacoepidemiology and Pharmacoeconomics and did post-doctoral training at the US Food and Drug Administration's Center for Drug Evaluation and Research. I have conducted research using claims, electronic medical-record and registry data from North America and Europe. I have experience in meta-analysis, case-control and cohort studies, and have worked on methods, outcome validation, prescribing preferences, drug utilization and drug safety in pregnancy, pediatrics, diabetes, ophthalmology, cancer, cardiovascular and other areas.
