Samuel Hawley is a Research Fellow in epidemiology at the Musculoskeletal Research Unit, University of Bristol (UK). His research uses national health databases and registries, and is mainly in the disease areas of osteoporosis and osteoarthritis. Prior to this he undertook a PhD to estimate the impact of biologic therapy on the need for joint replacement among people with rheumatoid arthritis.
