Albert Cid Royo is a Ph.D. Candidate at the Department of Data Science and Biostatistics in the Julius Center at University Medical Center Utrecht in the Netherlands. He received his Audiovisual Systems Engineering degree from Pompeu Fabra University in Barcelona and his Master's in Biomedical Engineering from Aalborg University in Denmark. While pursuing his Ph.D., he is also involved in several COVID vaccine PASS studies within the international organization VAC4EU (Vaccine Monitoring Collaboration for Europe) as senior scientific programmer.
Albert's research interests focus on data science within Pharmacoepidemiology and Real World Evidence (RWE). Specifically, he is interested in programming methodologies for evidence generation, pattern recognition, and signal analysis within Real World Data (RWD). Additionally, he is interested in automatic data quality assessment of RWD.
