Richeek is a postdoctoral fellow in the Division of Pharmacoepidemiology at Harvard Medical School. He recently completed his PhD at the
Department of Epidemiology, Biostatistics and Occupational Health at McGill University under the supervision of Dr. Laurent Azoulay. Previously, Richeek completed his training as a physician in 2010 and his residency in clinical pharmacology in 2014 from the Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research, India and received a MS degree in 2017 focusing on medical informatics from University of Massachusetts Medical School, USA. He is currently involved in pharmacoepidemiology research using large clinical databases looking at the long-term use of antidiabetic drugs under the supervision of Drs. Elisabetta Patorno and Rishi Desai. More broadly, he is interested in exploring how the interaction of drug research, drug laws and policies shapes the health of communities.
