Therese Johansson is currently a PhD student at Uppsala University in Sweden, where her PhD projects focuses on the impact of exogenous hormones on female health. Specifically, her projects involve the use of large-scale datasets and advanced biostatistical modelling techniques to investigate the relationship between hormone therapy, hormonal contraceptives, and the risk of stroke, cancer, and depression. In addition to her work at Uppsala, Johansson is also affiliated with WOMHER (womens mental health during the reproductive lifespan), a unique interdisciplinary research center dedicated to studying women's mental health during their reproductive lifespan
