Mayura Shinde, DrPH, MPH, is a Research Scientist in the Department of Population Medicine at Harvard Medical School and Harvard Pilgrim Health Care Institute. Her research focuses on conducting post-marketing drug safety research at FDA examining maternal medication utilization during pregnancy and adverse pregnancy outcomes. She has also used inpatient EHR data for monitoring trends in COVID-19 hospitalizations among adults and pediatric population. Prior to joining the Department of Population Medicine, Mayura worked as a Senior Researcher at HealthCore, Inc., conducting comparative effectiveness research for several products within a national claims insurance database. She completed her doctorate in Epidemiology and Environmental Healthfrom Texas A&M Health Science Center, TX.
