Kenneth Hornbuckle, DVM, MPH, PhD, FISPE is an Associate Vice President for the Pharmacoepidemiology Group which is a component within the Global Patient Safety Organization at Eli Lilly and Company. He has over 25 years of experience in pharmacovigilance, drug safety surveillance, pharmacoepidemiology, benefit-risk assessment and risk management plans. Dr. Hornbuckle currently leads the Pharmacoepidemiology Team to provide pharmacoepidemiological and observational research expertise to support drug safety assessments and benefit-risk management across the Company’s portfolio. He also has extensive experience leveraging RWD/RWE for decision making, fulfilling PMRs/PMCs, and collaborating on various cross-industry RWD/RWE initiatives. Dr. Hornbuckle received a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) from Tuskegee University and a MPH, PhD (epidemiologic science) from the University of Michigan, School of Public Health.
