Alison Rataj, MSW, MS, is a research assistant at the UMass Chan Medical School, Population and Quantitative Health Sciences. In this role, Alison has assisted and co-conducted research studies on medication use in nursing home residents with Alzheimer’s disease or a related dementia using large, national datasets. Alison is also a part-time Project Director at the University of New Hampshire (UNH), Institute for Health Policy and Practice and the Center on Aging and Community Living. At UNH, Alison assists in designing, implementing, and evaluating projects that support person-centered, home and community-based options for older people in New Hampshire. Alison is also a fourth year PhD student at the University of Massachusetts Boston, Gerontology department.
