Tania Schink is a statistician and pharmacoepidemiologist and a senior scientist (expert) at the Leibniz Institute for Prevention Research and Epidemiology – BIPS in Bremen, Germany. She has more than 12 years of experience in pharmacoepidemiology, working on EU funded multi-database studies, Post Authorization Safety Studies, and research projects regarding the use and safety of drugs in vulnerable populations. In the last years her research focused on the examination of the use and safety of medication during pregnancy. In March 2023 she was nominated by the European Commission to serve as scientific expert in the Pharmacovigilance Risk Assessment Committee (PRAC) of the European Medicines Agency's (EMA).
