Epidemiology & Benefit - Risk Evaluation, Sanofi
Juhaeri Juhaeri is Vice President and Global Head of Epidemiology and Benefit-Risk at Sanofi. An epidemiologist and statistician, he has held leadership roles in Medical and Pharmacovigilance functions for more than two decades in the pharmaceutical industry. He has built and developed various teams at Sanofi, including Epidemiology, Signal Detection, Benefit – Risk Evaluation and Global Safety Sciences, brought and implemented state-of-the art methods and approaches in epidemiology, and led successful epidemiology programs leading to products’ approval and maintenance.
He has led different working groups in various public-private collaborations between pharmaceutical industry, academia, and regulatory agencies. Recently he was the industry lead in the "Methods" work stream of a European Consortium Project to strengthen patient-centric decision making throughout the life cycle of medicinal products. He is a chapter lead and an Editorial Committee member in the CIOMS XIII Working Group on Real - World Evidence.
He is an adjunct faculty at the Gillings School of Global Public Health, University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and at the Department of Statistics and Data Sciences, IPB University, Indonesia.
