Post-Baccalaureate Research Assistant
Indiana University Bloomington
My name is Sydney Adams, and I am a post-baccalaureate research assistant working in the Developmental Psychopathology Lab at Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana, US. I am broadly interested in using epidemiologic methods to study risk and protective factors for mental health problems across the lifespan, with particular interests in ADHD, suicidality, and substance use. Currently, much of my research is focused on using data from administrative health claims to understand real-world patterns of psychiatric medication treatment use, as well as the potential consequences of treatment use on risk for serious outcomes, such as suicidal behavior. I eventually hope to pursue graduate school and a career in research at the intersection of clinical psychology and public health.
