Jessica is an experienced data scientist and researcher with expertise working with real world data (RWD) across a variety of public health and clinical areas (oncology, cardiovascular disease, HIV) and research areas (health outcomes, US payment policies and reimbursement). Jessica has evaluated and utilized multiple RWD sources including electronic health records (EHR), claims, registries, and linked claims/EHRs. Her project portfolio includes characterizing patient populations, and evaluating treatment patterns, clinical outcomes in patients with ovarian cancer, developing line of therapy algorithms for ovarian and endometrial cancers, data landscaping, consulting statistician on post authorization safety studies, and evaluating the impact of inpatient and outpatient US payment polices on reimbursement for medical devices. She has worked in diverse settings, including the pharmaceutical (GSK and TESARO) and medical device (Boston Scientific) industries, health care systems (Massachusetts General Hospital and Boston Medical Center), and consulting (Optum/United Health Group). Jessica has co-authored several peer-reviewed publications and dozens of poster conference presentations. She enjoys applying novel statistical methods to real world retrospective observational studies such as predictive modeling and emulated trial designs. Jessica holds an MPH degree in Epidemiology and Biostatistics from Boston University School of Public Health.
