Dr. Wurst has spent 17 years at GlaxoSmithKline (GSK). As Head of Safety Science for the Epidemiology group within Value Evidence and Outcomes, she provides strategic leadership and oversight of epidemiology into safety and risk management programs across the R&D pipeline and marketed portfolio. She promotes best practice and innovation in the use of epidemiology, real world data; patient-reported or clinician-observed outcomes and advanced analytics for safety and risk management including safety signal evaluation, regulatory procedures, and post authorization safety studies. She has extensive experience in conducting safety studies, particularly in pregnancy safety. Keele received a PhD in Epidemiology from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, a M. S in Pharmaceutical Policy from University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill and a B.S. in Pharmacy from the University of Pittsburgh.
