Pharmacist-researcher, with the distinction cum laude graduated at the University of Groningen, The Netherlands, with specialisation in Product Care and Pharmacotherapy. Thesis subject: Co-Administration of African Potato and Cisplatin for Treating Breast and Prostate Cancer in Vitro, using the Pheroid® Delivery System. Aimed at toxicology, drug targeting and product care. Currently a PhD Candidate at the University of Groningen, at the department of PharmacoTherapy, epidemiology and economics. Currently involved with the EU-funded project: Health Alliance for Prudent Prescription and Yield of Antibiotics in a Patient-centered Perspective (HAPPY PATIENT). The PhD trajectory is specifically aimed at promoting the prudent use of antibiotics in community pharmacies throughout the European Union.
