Godfried Adjei is a Clinical Oncology Pharmacist/Radiopharmacist and the Head of the Oncology Pharmacy Unit of the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital. He has over 13 years of experience in oncology pharmacy practice. He is a member of the Ghana College of Pharmacists and holds a Master of Business Administration. He is also offering Msc Oncology at Newcastle University. His passion is improving access to cancer medications and treatment and provision of supportive care for cancer and palliative care patients in resource-constrained settings to improve their quality of life through the application of the principle and theory of pharmacoepidemiology, health economics and therapeutic risk management. He is a member of the MASCC, BOPA, ISOPP, OPAG, BSG, etc. He advocates for fairness and equity in access to cancer medications and supportive care for treating patients to reduce inequality and promote social justice.
