I am Emaan Rashidi, MHS, a Johns Hopkins-educated pharmacoepidemiologist and am currently a senior consultant for IQVIA’s Epidemiology and Drug Safety team. My overarching interests are in the conduction of pharmacoepidemiologic research using real-world evidence, clinical trials, and drug safety surveillance. I have a strong background in epidemiology with a track record of authoring scientific, pharmacoepidemiologic communications in high-impact journals including JAMA Internal Medicine, Annals of Internal Medicine, and The Lancet Rheumatology. I hold 5 + years of epidemiology experience and 3+ years of experience providing epidemiological and statistical consulting for several therapeutic areas including oncology, neuroscience, rheumatology, and gastroenterology. I maintain up-to-date industry knowledge regarding regulatory requirements (FDA & EMA) for Post Approval Authorization Studies, Risk Management Plans, and formal guidance releases for the use of RWE for regulatory decision making.
