Kristin Palmsten, ScD, is a Senior Research Investigator and Co-Director of the Pregnancy and Child Health Research Center at HealthPartners Institute. She earned her doctorate in Epidemiology from the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. Dr. Palmsten�s research focuses primarily on evaluating the safety of medication use during pregnancy. She recieved a Career Development Award from the Eunice Kennedy Shriver National Institute of Child Health & Human Development to evaluate the impact of oral corticosteroid use during pregnancy on preterm birth risk. She was awarded the 2013 Abraham Lilienfeld Student Prize from the Society for Epidemiologic Research and the 2015-2016 University of California San Diego Chancellor�s Postdoctoral Scholar Award.
