My current research interests include:
- assessing the safety and effectiveness of cardiovascular medicines (including DOACs, ARNIs, lipid-modifying agents) using electronic health records.
- conducting target trial emulation to evaluate the effectiveness of COVID-19 oral antivirals.
- identifying potential health disparities in patients with mental disorders, and in those residing in middle-income countries.
- applying machine-learning and other computational methods in healthcare and drug discovery.
