Dr. Al-Garadi holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science and is a research assistant professor of biomedical informatics at Vanderbilt University Medical Center with a specialized research interest in machine learning, natural language processing (NLP), and large language models for healthcare. His work in these areas includes applied NLP/ML/DL, including the development and integration of these technologies into biomedical NLP, health data mining, social media mining for health applications, computational medicine, and wearable and sensor devices (IoTs). He has contributed papers to peer-reviewed journals and presented his team's latest work at national conferences. Dr. Al-Garadi serves as a reviewer for academic publications, contributing his expertise to shape the field of biomedical informatics. Through both his academic and professional efforts, he aims to bridge the gap between artificial intelligence and practical medical application, working to take these technologies from bench to bedside.
