Dr. Christina Mack is the Chief Scientific Officer of Real World Solutions at IQVIA, an S&P 500 company with global operations in over 100 countries. In this role, she is responsible for driving scientific and technical innovation that has a direct impact on furthering research methods and improving patients health. She also leads the IQVIA Surveillance and Agile Analytics Team, which partners with global health organizations, biopharmaceutical companies and elite sports leagues such as the NFL and NBA to prevent disease, reduce injuries and improve population health and safety. Her research has been published broadly in top journals including the CDC’s Mortality and Morbidity Weekly Report, JAMA, American Journal of Sports Medicine, and Annals of Internal Medicine, on topics such as the effectiveness of medical products, infectious disease, sports medicine, and research methods. She serves as a board member and advisor for numerous policy, academic and private organizations on topics that include research methods, data science, global health and disease prevention. Formally trained in computer science at the University of Notre Dame and Epidemiology at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Dr. Mack holds faculty positions in the Notre Dame College of Science Department of Applied and Computational Mathematics and Statistics and the UNC Gillings School of Global Public Health.
