Dr Nicolas Praet has more than 20 years experience in conducting research activities in the field of epidemiology and control of infectious diseases in both Public Health (Pasteur Institute of Brussels, Institute of Tropical Medicine of Antwerp) and pharmaceutical (Janssen, GlaxoSmithKline) sectors. His scientific expertise covers several disciplines i.e., epidemiology, pharmacoepidemiology, public health, parasitology, vector-borne diseases (malaria and tick-borne diseases), virology, immunology and vaccinology. He has coordinated scientific projects/networks and have led epidemiological studies in several European, Asian, African and American countries, and is currently leading the Infectious Diseases and Vaccines Epidemiology Team at Janssen.
