I am a Professor of Epidemiology and Medicine at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, where I serve as founding co-Director of the Center for Drug Safety and Effectiveness. I am a practicing primary care physician and pharmacoepidemiologist and the author of over 350 scientific articles examining prescription drug utilization, safety and effectiveness.
