PhD Candidate
Democritus University of Thrace, Greece
Hello there, I'm Kassandros Konstantinos, a full-time pharmacist and a passionate scholar at the crossroads of several exciting fields. As a Ph.D. candidate at the University of Thrace, I'm currently diving deep into the pharmacoepidemiology of nervous system drugs and the intriguing possibilities around deprescribing.
Before this, I completed three Master's degrees - Nanomedicine, Industrial Pharmacy, and Clinical Pharmacy - and now, I'm about to add a Psychology degree to the mix. Yes, it's a lot of studying, but I love every bit of it!
Being a practicing pharmacist allows me to bridge the gap between academia and real-world applications. It helps me see the human side of pharmacoepidemiology, understanding not just the drugs but the people who use them. It's this focus on patient care that drives my research and propels my interest in deprescribing.
Away from the academic world and the pharmacy, I'm also an active member of the International Society for Pharmacoepidemiology (ISPE). I'm thrilled to be part of ISPE 2023 and can't wait to share my latest findings with you all. I'm also looking forward to learning from and connecting with many of you at the event.
So, that's a brief introduction to my world. I'm really looking forward to meeting many of you at the ISPE 2023 event. Let's share, learn, and grow together in this wonderful field of pharmacoepidemiology.
