Ashley Howell, PhD MPH, is a Pharmacoepidemiology contractor at Regeneron Pharmaceuticals, Inc. At Regeneron, Dr. Howell monitors the safety of marketed products to ensure an optimal risk-benefit ratio is maintained. She also leverages her epidemiologic and analytical expertise to design and conduct high-quality internal studies, authors the epidemiologic sections of regulatory documents, and contributes to the development and progress of post-approval safety studies.
Dr. Howell earned a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Epidemiology from the Medical University of South Carolina, a Master of Public Health degree with a concentration in epidemiology from the University of Auckland, New Zealand, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Portland State University. Dr. Howell has authored and co-authored several peer-reviewed publications and presented her research at international conferences.
