Lamiae Grimaldi (f) is Professor of Clinical Pharmacology and Pharmacoepidemiology at the Paris Saclay University, Faculty of Medicine and Health Science, and hospital practitioner at the Assistance Publique-Hôpitaux de Paris (AP-HP) as head of the CRU PS. She was trained as pharmacist and pharmacoepidemiologist. Her main research area is the development and assessment of drugs in the ‘’real world’’, using innovative methods in pharmacoepidemiology. Lamiae has long experience in conceiving and field-conducting studies, building a research platform based on innovative systematic case-referent method (PGRx) with standardized prospective data collection that led to 50 peer-reviewed journals publications over 8 years. Main research applications are in the post-marketing phase of drug assessment. Lamiae represents the PGRx Research Platform in the European Network of Centres for Pharmacoepidemiology and Pharmacovigilance (ENCePP), and was part of the EU Pharmacoepidemiology & Pharmacovigilance Research Network, formerly PROTECT, as a co-Lead in WP6 and researcher in WP2. In addition to her research, Lamiae is honorary associate professor at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, teaching in the Masters of Pharmacoepidemiology and Pharmacovigilance. She also teaches pharmacoepidemiology and clinical pharmacology to medical students. She is co-author of over 100 papers in peer reviewed journals, book chapters and research reports.
