Thom Lysen holds an MSc degree in Medicine from the University of Groningen, and a PhD in Epidemiology from the Erasmus MC, University Medical Center Rotterdam. At IQVIA, Thom works as a consultant on a variety of epidemiological projects, both nationally and internationally. Before joining IQVIA, he completed his PhD-thesis, and worked several years as a physician at the departments of Neurology at several Dutch hospitals. Thom is experienced in literature review, study design, data collection, conducting statistical analyses, writing scientific publications, and project management. He has published 14 papers in peer-reviewed journals (6 as first author) with >400 citations, and presented at scientific conferences.
