Nistha Shrestha is a Ph.D. student at the Outcomes and Translational Sciences department at the Ohio State University under the guidance of Dr. Jenny Wei. She is a pharmacist from Nepal where she has worked as a research pharmacist in Nepal for two years and developed a passion for research and epidemiology. She then completed her Master’s in Public Health in Epidemiology from the University of North Texas Health Science Center. She is interested in pharmacoepidemiology and health outcomes studies in older adults. Her research interests include cognitive impairment, infectious diseases, and chronic conditions like hypertension. Apart from data analysis, she is trained in study design with experience in designing retrospective cohorts, drug utilization, comparative effectiveness, and qualitative study designs. She aspires to pursue a career in the pharmaceutical industry particularly in health outcomes research.
