Minji Jung, PharmD, PhD, is a postdoctoral fellow focusing on kidney cancer prevention at Urologic Epidemiologic Lab, Stanford Medicine, supervised by Dr. Benjamin I. Chung and Dr. Marvin E. Langston. She completed her PharmD and PhD degrees with a pharmacoepidemiology from College of Pharmacy, Ajou University in South Korea. Prior to joining Stanford University, she worked as a researcher working on safety and efficacy of cardiovascular medication use at School of Pharmacy, University of California, San Francisco.
Dr. Jung’s pharmacoepidemiologic research focuses upon identifying modifiable risk factors for development of urologic cancers and improving their outcomes to allow for future preventative action. Also, she is interested in applying various statistical methodologies to improve research quality and provide evidence. Her research has enhanced understanding of potential prevention and treatment strategies and optimal drug therapies for clinical decision-making in urologic cancer studies.
