Kayte Andersen, PhD is a Director of Vaccines Real World Evidence at Pfizer. She holds a Bachelors degree in Pharmacology and Masters in Pharmacoepidemiology from McGill University in Montreal, and a PhD in Pharmacoepidemiology from Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. She was in her doctoral training program as covid began, and quickly pivoted her dissertation focus to be the use, safety and effectiveness of medications among adults hospitalized for covid. After graduation, she joined Pfizer's Real World Evidence group where she continues to focus on questions relating to acute covid risk and burden, post-covid conditions (also known as "long covid"), and covid vaccine effectiveness.
