Lecturer of Clinical Trials

My name is Dawit Getachew Assefa and I am Lecturer of Clinical Trial and Clinical Trials Specialist at Dilla University, Ethiopia, since 2015. I graduated from Addis Ababa University with the field of MSc in Clinical Trial in 2021 with great distinction (3.84) and BSc in Nursing from Jigjiga University in 2014 with distinction (3.51). In my eight years stay in the rural part of Ethiopia, I have served as an academic staff at the level of an Assistant Lecturer of Nursing, Professional Nurse, focal person of TB/HIV, and severe acute malnutrition management center, coordinator of maternal and child health improvement project, and department head of an adult, children’s outpatient department at district health center, and actively participated in communicable and non-communicable disease prevention, and control activities at the rural part of Ethiopia. Through my work as an academician and Professional Nurse for the University of Dilla, where I have also held several leadership positions, I have gained valuable experience and built a strong record of noteworthy attainments in coordinating various academic programs and project works.
