Monica is a third year PhD candidate at Monash Addiction Research Centre (MARC), and at the Centre for Medicine Use and Safety (CMUS), Faculty of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences, Monash University. Her research involves utilising health care data to understand safe and effective use of prescription opioids. As a practising clinical pharmacist at Alfred Health, Monica integrates her clinical experience into her research. Monica completed Monash’s Graduate Entry Pharmacy program. Prior to studying pharmacy, Monica completed a degree in biochemistry at University of Rochester, New York.
