Intern
Manipal College of Pharmaceutical Sciences, India
My name is Mansi Pawar, I am a Pharm D intern from Manipal College of Pharmaceutical Sciences. I understand that you have several students applying for the scholarship, but I hope my application will stand out among the crowd. During the COVID-19 pandemic, I realized how important pharmacoepidemiology studies are in healthcare with new evidence being published every day with respect to the drugs and complications. That made me realize the importance of public health and how it can change the general population's life. This inspired me to pursue pharmacoepidemiology. During my course, I had an opportunity to work on a couple of projects in pharmacoepidemiology. I believe I deserve this scholarship because it will help me achieve my plans and long-term goals. I wish to pursue higher studies in pharmacoepidemiology and public health, and attending the conference would give me an opportunity to connect, interact and get a deeper insight into the field from the experts.
As our university currently does not provide any funding for attending international conferences and my family is not in a favorable position to finance for the conference, I kindly request you to consider me as an applicant for your scholarship so that it helps me to leave my mark in the field of public health in the future.
