Kristin Kostka is the inaugural director of the Observational Health Data Sciences and Informatics (OHDSI) Center at the Roux Institute. She is pioneering educational and research programs to advance the emerging discipline of real world evidence use in regulatory science. A computational epidemiologist with accolades from industry and academia, Kostka’s distinguished resumes includes prior roles at IQVIA, ConvergeHEALTH (a division of Deloitte Consulting), Commonwealth Care Alliance and Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science from Elon University, a Master’s in Public Health in Epidemiology from Boston University School of Public Health and is working on her DPhil part-time at the Centre for Statistics in Medicine at the University of Oxford Nuffield Department of Orthopaedics, Rheumatology and Musculoskeletal Sciences (NDORMS) Medical Sciences Division.
