Debbie is a highly experienced pharmacoepidemiologist with a proven track record in shaping institutional strategy in the conception, development and delivery of observational research programs. Key functions have centred on leading the development of protocols and statistical analyses plans for RWE safety studies using large longitudinal real-world datasets, with application of innovative analytical methodologies. She has a 20+ year career of scientific leadership in building and maintaining networks of collaborators and partnerships with data custodians, academics, industrial and governmental bodies to participate in joint research collaborations to underpin and enhance research capacity. Her contribution as a subject matter expert on medication safety is demonstrated by a portfolio of over 50 publications in specialist journals, numerous presentations at conferences. She holds honorary posts at two UK universities, editorial committee posts on two scientific journals and maintains active leadership engagements within the International Society of Pharmacoepidemiology (ISPE). She is now the Director of an independent scientific consultancy business
