Jennifer Fusco is President and Chief Scientific Officer at Epividian. She studied biology at the University of Michigan and epidemiology at the College of Human Medicine at Michigan State University. Jennifer heads scientific operations on the Observational PharrmacoEpidemiolgy Research & Analysis (OPERA) database for Epividian and has been working in and/or consulting for the pharmaceutical industry and academia for the past 25 years. Her research focus has been mainly in HIV and liver diseases working with population-level, observational databases. As a founding member of the Collaborations in HIV Outcomes Research in the US (CHORUS) database at GlaxoWellcome/ GlaxoSmithKline, she has consulted on specific research efforts as well as the design and development of database architectural and analysis standards. She has worked with AIDS Healthcare Foundation, Boehringer-Ingelheim, EMD Serono, Flora Biosciences, Gilead Sciences, GlaxoWellcome, GlaxoSmithKline, Hoffmann-La Roche, Merck & Co., Janssen, Theratechnologies, ViiV Healthcare, as well as with individuals at Duke University, University of North Carolina, Veterans Administration, and Yale University. Using technology to support individuals living with complex diseases and their healthcare providers is her passion. Developing new tools to help mitigate health disparities and serve special populations are her ambitions.
