Core Clinical Sciences
Jay Park, PhD, is the Scientific Lead on Core Clinical Sciences (CCS) with over 10 years of experience in complex innovative trial and quantitative research methods. He specializes in innovative trial designs (adaptive trial designs, master protocols, and platform trials), decision analytics, and evidence synthesis methods. Jay has over 40 peer-reviewed publications and is the lead author of the book “Introduction to Adaptive Trial Designs and Master Protocols” with the Cambridge University Press. Prior to his work with Core Clinical Sciences, he has worked as the Director of Trials Research for Cytel Inc and other consultancies in the past. He was part of the Master Protocol resources development by the Clinical Trials Transformation Initiative (CTTI), a public-private partnership created in 2007 between the United States Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and Duke University. In addition to his role at CCS, he is an Assistant Professor at McMaster University within the Department of Health Research Methods, Evidence and Impact (HEI), Faculty of Health Sciences at McMaster University. Since 2018, Jay has taught graduate-level courses on adaptive trial designs and master protocols at McMaster.
